This version of Measurements Converter is implemented in JavaScript. You will need a browser, capable to interpret it for you, or you won't be able to use the converter. Try Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer Ver 3.0 or later.

Thanks to all who helped me, who reported bugs in the converter and who sent me comments and ideas of how this page could be improved! I especially appreciate help of Jim Flannery, Wes McMinn, Dave Carden and Stan Rimdzius for letting me know about wrong conversion results and some errors in formulas.

Disclaimer

This converter was never intended for high precision calculations. It was first implemented simply to test new JavaScript capabilities of Netscape Navigator.

If you don't like low precision of the conversion results, you have two choices:

Don't use the converter.
Use view source option of your browser to see the JavaScript source of the conversion program. Correct the conversion factor you think is unexact. Mail the corrected version to me. I'll put the corrected version on the web and acknowledge your help.

Please do not send me messages just saying that some conversion results are not exact enough!
